This trail features a variety of mature trees and grassy hillsides alongside a stretch of riparian habitat. Raptors, nuthatches, and woodpeckers are sighted regularly, along with a variety of sparrows. This is a dirt trail, wide in most areas, mostly level although there are some elevation changes. There are no areas to sit along this trail. Restrooms are available.
This trip is free but advance registration is required. The exact location and directions will be emailed to registered participants. Registration will open on June 20 and close on the Thursday before the trip at 4 p.m. (If you try to register before June 20, you’ll get a message that registration is closed.)

Walk is limited to 15 participants (plus the leaders). There will not be a waiting list.
Participants must register online and acknowledge acceptance of our liability waiver. Each person must register separately. No “drop ins,” please.
Participants will receive the trip directions by email when they register.
Everyone must wear masks.
No sharing of equipment, including binoculars and scopes.
We will adhere to any additional health guidelines from the county or venue.
