West County Wastewater Loop (Richmond)
September 12 @ 8:00 am - 10:30 am
September is a great time to bird the West County Wastewater District–Landfill Loop Trail. There will be a mixture of waterfowl and shorebirds along with the opportunity to practice gull identification. This is also a good location for finding vagrant fall migrants. The trip will consist of a 3 mile hike along a flat sandy/dirt road beginning and ending at the parking lot where there are portapotties. A scope is recommended, provided you don’t mind carrying it around the loop.
Leader: Robert Raffel, firstname.lastname@example.org (925) 788-7568
