SF Northern Waterfront
August 15 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am
We’ll explore several different habitats in this compact part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The focus will be looking for early migrants, and we may find Orioles, Warblers, Tanagers and Flycatchers. We’ll also scan the nearby shoreline for shorebirds and water birds. Restrooms available. Most of the walk is flat, on mostly paved walkways, but there is one short steep descent to the waterfront. Benches are available on part of this walk for resting if needed. Heavy rain cancels.
This trip is free but advance registration is required. The exact location and directions will be provided to registered participants. Registration will open on August 1 and close at 4 pm on Thursday, August 12. If you try to sign up before August 1, you’ll get a message that registration is closed.
Leader: David Assmann, email@example.com
