Lafayette Community Center

This trail features a variety of mature trees and grassy hillsides alongside a stretch of riparian habitat. Raptors, nuthatches, and woodpeckers are sighted regularly, along with a variety of sparrows. This is a dirt trail, wide in most areas, mostly level although there are some elevation changes. There are no areas to sit along this trail. Restrooms are available.
This trip is free but advance registration is required. Registration will open two weeks before the trip and close at 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 4. Directions for registered participants are listed below.

- Trip is limited to 15 participants (plus the leaders). There will not be a waiting list.

Participants must register online and acknowledge acceptance of our liability waiver. Each person must register separately.

No “drop ins,” please. We’re trying to keep everyone safe with manageable group sizes!

We will adhere to any additional health guidelines from the county or venue.

Directions:
Meet at the Lafayette Community Center at 500 St. Mary’s Road in Lafayette. We’ll walk the trail behind the Community Center. Restrooms are available. There is ample parking.
