Coyote Lagoon Bike Ride (Fremont)

We will cycle about 10 miles from Warm Springs BART to Coyote Creek Lagoon and back: 5 miles on city streets and 5 miles on gravel trail.  Beginners welcome! https://www.fws.gov/refuge/don_edwards_san_francisco_bay/Visit/Coyote.Creek.Map.html

This birding ride is co-listed with Grizzly Peak Cyclists. 

Bring lunch (no place to buy food).   Bike helmets required.   Bring binoculars and wear warm layered clothes.  Restrooms are located in the BART station.   Rain cancels.  Call Pat’s cell the morning of ride if you are not sure.  Call or email Cathy Bleier with other questions.

This trip is free but advance registration is required. Registration will open two weeks before the trip and close at 4 p.m. on Thursday, January 20.  Directions for registered participants are below.

• Ride is limited to 12 participants, plus the leaders. There will not be a waiting list.

• Participants must register online and acknowledge acceptance of our liability waiver. Each person must register separately. No “drop ins,” please.

Thank you for your flexibility in helping us ensure that everyone remains healthy! Because we have to limit the size of trips, please do not sign up unless you are committed to attending.

Directions: Meet at Warm Springs BART, Fremont by 10:00 AM. Your leaders will arrive on 9:58 and 9:52 from the East Bay and San Francisco, respectively.  Meet on the street level near, but not obstructing the escalators and stairs.
