Join us on Zoom for a virtual field trip to Shadow Cliffs Regional Park near Pleasanton–an easily accessible park with lots of winter birds. It contains several habitats in a small area, so you can get good looks at many species in a short (2-1/2 mile) non-strenuous walk. On the way, we’ll see winter water and land birds, the resident Ospreys, the other likely raptors, and the herons and cormorants nesting on their rookery. We’ll also discuss practicalities like getting to the park, restrooms, and suggested birding routes.
