Bird City

Instructor: Whitney Grover and Keith Maley

13

sessions on:

  • Mondays and Sundays

Venue: Zoom with field trips

Birds are living their fascinating lives all around us even in this 2nd most densely populated city in the U.S. Join us to learn about bird identification, behavior, migration, habitat, song and more, and increase your appreciation for nature here in San Francisco. This course is for you if you’ve always wondered about the birds around you, but have not been sure how to take the first steps to learn more.

Recordings of the lecture presentations will be available to class participants  for a limited period of time.

  • Seven Monday evening classes by Zoom:  February 28; March 7, 14, 21, 28; April 4, 11: 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
  • Six three-hour Sunday field trips, March 6, 13, 20, 27; April 3, 10: 8 to 11 am
  • $175 for GGAS members, $200 for non-members

Our Mission

The Golden Gate Audubon Society engages people to experience the wonder of birds and to translate that wonder into actions which protect native bird populations and their habitats.
